Niuxin Town, belonging to Panshi City, Jilin City, Jilin Province, is located in the south of Panshi City. It borders Futai town and Hongqiling town in the northeast, Heishi town in the East, Huinan County across Huifa River in the south, Baoshan Township in the West and Fu'an street in the north. It is 10km away from Panshi City. The area is 240.42 square kilometers.
In 1898, niuxin town was located in niuxindingzi village; in August 2001, it was changed from niuxin township to niuxin town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Niu Xin town was 26029. As of June 2020, niuxin town has one community and 17 administrative villages, and the people's Government of niuxin town is in niuxin village.
The main food crops in niuxin town are corn and rice; the main animal husbandry is raising pigs, cattle, sheep and poultry; the main industry is mining and grain processing. In 2018, there were 13 industrial enterprises in niuxin Town, including 3 above scale and 10 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In 1898, niuxindingzi village was established.
In 1938, it was changed to niuxin village. In 1945, it belonged to Xilin district. In 1946, it belonged to Taiping Township. In January 1949, it belonged to seven districts.
In September 1958, it belonged to Xilin commune.
In May 1962, Xilin commune established niuxin commune.
In December 1983, niuxin commune was transformed into niuxin township.
In August 2001, niuxin township was changed into niuxin Town, and Xilin town was merged into niuxin town.

In 1997, niuxin town had eight administrative villages, namely Desheng, niuxin, niuxinxian, changtiaozi, Chaoyang ditch, Huishi, Xinglong and Lanjia. Xilin Township had an area of 161 square kilometers and a population of 14000. Niuxin town had nine administrative villages, namely Xilin, Taihe, Shuqing, HuLong, Xinyi, Chajian, Xuming, Beishi and xilinxian, and two communities, Qingfeng and Xingye.

As of June 2020, niuxin town has 1 community and 17 administrative villages: Yongxing community, Xilin village, Korean Village, Taihe village, Shuqing village, Xinyi village, Chajian village, Xuming village, Beishi village, HuLong village, niuxin village, niuxian village, Lanjia village, Chaoyanggou village, changtiaozi village, Desheng village, Shihui village and Xinglonggou village. The town people's government is stationed in niuxin village.
