Lingda Township

Lingda (L í NGD á) township is located in the border of Anhui and the Soviet Union. In ancient times, it was said that "Chu tou Wu Wei" was the Northeast gateway of southeast Anhui. There are eight administrative villages with a total area of 114 square kilometers and a total population of 28527.

In August 2020, Lingda township was selected as Anhui summer resort in 2020.

There are many varieties and large quantities of minerals in the township. The main mineral products are limestone, kaolin, iron stone and so on. Among them, the reserves of limestone is nearly 100 million cubic meters, ranking the first in the county, with high grade and great development value.

Wu Yashan

Lingda township has beautiful scenery and rich tourism resources, especially Wuya mountain (Wuyuan mountain). It is said that Wu Zixu, the great general of the state of Wu, was chased and killed by a large number of Chu troops when he fled from the state of Chu. He was surrounded here. Seeing that the pursuit was approaching and the sound of the horse's hooves was gradually increasing, I was afraid that it would be hard to escape. When the sky suddenly dropped heavy fog, what's more amazing is that Wu Zixu's horse actually retreated to the top of Wuya mountain. When the Chu soldiers approached, they found that the horseshoe had come down from the mountain. They thought that the soldiers had come down from the mountain, so they gave up their pursuit on the mountain. As a result, Zixu escaped. After that, when Wu Zixu led the army of Wu to attack the state of Chu, he came to Wuya mountain again and set up a flag on the mountain, so Wuyuan mountain was also called Wuya mountain.

Longxuhu reservoir

Another scenic spot in Lingda township is the Longxu lake reservoir at the junction of Lingda Township and Taocheng rural area. It is the water supply base of Langxi County. On both sides of the lake are delicate and fragrant tea gardens. The lake water is clear, dotted with a number of islands in the middle of the lake. There are all kinds of birds on it. The lakeside and coastal tourism resources are rich. It has been listed as one of the key tourist attractions in Langxi County.
