Tangzang town
Tangzang Town, belonging to Feng County, Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the northwest of Feng County, bordering honghuapu town in the East, shuangshipu town in the south, zhangjiaxiang town in Liangdang County, Longnan City, Gansu Province in the west, and dongchahe Town, Beidao District, Tianshui City, Gansu Province in the north. The total area is 367.57 square kilometers.
As of June 2020, tangzang town has five administrative villages. As of 2018, the population of Tang Tibetan town registered residence was 5190. In 2011, the total agricultural output value of tangzang town reached 15.814 million yuan, the total industrial output value was 210 million yuan, and the total retail sales of social consumer goods reached 3.16 million yuan.
Historical evolution
It is said that in the Tang Dynasty, warehouses were set up to store grain, which was named "Tang warehouse".
After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), the northern district was set up.
In 1935, it was renamed the joint protection office of Tang and Tibet.
In the 28th year of the Republic of China (1939), it was changed to the Tibetan Township Office of the Tang Dynasty.
In November 1949, Tang Zang District Office was established.
In May 1950, it was incorporated into shuangshipu district.
In July 1951, the Tang Tibetan area was restored.
In March 1956, tangzang district was abolished and merged into tangzang and pangjiahe counties.
In September 1958, Tang Zang and Pang Jiahe merged to establish the advanced commune.
In January 1959, it was divided into tangzang and pangjiahe administrative areas, both under the jurisdiction of shuangshipu commune.
In June 1961, tangzang and pangjiahe were merged into tangzang commune, which has 14 production teams and 47 production teams.
In September 1966, it was renamed Xiangyang commune.
In June 1970, Tang Zang commune was restored.
In March 1984, it was changed to tangzang Township, which has jurisdiction over 14 administrative villages and 44 villager groups.
In June 1997, tangzang township was changed into a town.

In November 2007, Aikou village was merged into daohuigou village, Yangjiazhuang village into Lijiazhuang village, Xinchang village into LAOCHANG village, liangshangou village into Panjiawan village, Luohansi village into pangjiahe village. Five villages were abolished and 11 villager groups were merged.
By the end of 2011, tangzang town had jurisdiction over nine administrative villages, including Xinjiazhuang, LAOCHANG, Caojiazhuang, Lijiazhuang, xinjiashan, daohuigou, Caotangou, Panjiawan and pangjiahe, with 33 villager groups.
As of June 2020, tangzang town has five administrative villages. The people's government is stationed in Xinjiazhuang village.

Tangzang town is located in the northwest of Feng County, bordering honghuapu town in the East, shuangshipu town in the south, zhangjiaxiang town in Liangdang County, Longnan City, Gansu Province in the west, and dongchahe Town, Beidao District, Tianshui City, Gansu Province in the north. The total area is 367.57 square kilometers, including 208.27 square kilometers of land, accounting for 99.7%, and 0.63 square kilometers of water, accounting for 0.3%.

Tangzang town is located in the west of Qinling Mountains, the terrain is high in the north and low in the south. The terrain in the area is mainly Qinling fold belt. The main peak is Xinjia mountain, the lowest point of Luohan temple is located in pangjiahe village, with an altitude of 1100 meters.
