Jiangdong township is located in the northwest of Mangshi, with a total area of 219.69 square kilometers. Before liberation, it was mainly Xilian Township, and later it was Chang'an township. Hetou village, where the township government is located, is 38 kilometers away from Mangshi, where the municipal government is located. It is adjacent to Hetou township of Longling County in the East, Mengyang town of Lianghe County in the south, and wuchalu Township and Xuangang Township in the northwest.
