Located in the middle of Midu Bazi, Midu town is the seat of Midu County. Established in 1950, it is the political, economic and cultural center of Midu County. National Highway 214 runs through the whole area, 59 km away from Dali City, 361 km away from Kunming, 45 km away from Nanjian County, 25 km away from Xiangyun and 47 km away from Weishan.
