Paradise Township is located in the southwest of Ruichang City, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province. It is known as Ruichang Tibet. It borders Yangxin County in the west, Wuning County in the south, Qingshan in the East and Huayuan Township in the north. It is located in deep mountains and valleys, with a total area of 95 square kilometers and a population of 12746 (2018). It has jurisdiction over seven administrative villages, including Nanzhuang, qiaopeng, zhuang'an, Gaotang, Beifan, nanbeigang and Zhangfang. The township government is located in fengjiaxiang, and the zhaole highway passes through.

Historical evolution

In the fifth year of Qianlong reign, Ke Cheng avoided chaos and came to this point, "the victory of Leshan and water, the beauty of local conditions, happily established his own business and named himself Yueyuan.". Since then, 60 Li Heyuan has been known as keleyuan. The people's commune was named paradise commune. In 1950, it belonged to Chongzheng, kuangping, Zhangfang and other townships. In 1958, it was established as Yueyuan commune. In 1968, it was divided into Huayuan commune and zhaochen commune respectively. In 1972, it was restored to Yueyuan commune. In 1984, it was changed to township.

In 1997, it covers an area of 95.5 square kilometers and has a population of 13000. It governs eight administrative villages, namely chaliao, qiaopeng, zhuang'an, Gaotang, Beifan, Nanzhuang, nanbeigang and Zhangfang. The township government is located in fengjiaxiang, 70 kilometers away from the urban area.

The township government is located in fengjiaxiang, Nanzhuang Village, which has become a small market town. There are cultural station, radio and television station, agricultural technology station, health center, school one, forestry station, finance office, land and resources office and Credit Union in a 500 meter long street. Bamboo mat factory, post office, telecommunication office, large and small commercial shops, restaurants, a total of 15, is the political, economic and cultural center of the park, 75 kilometers away from the city.

Paradise Township is rich in resources, coal is almost everywhere, there are YangLe, Yangpo and Luokeng coal mine paradise work area, the annual output value of more than 30 million yuan. There are 10 caves for tourism development, each of which is famous and unique. For example, Ninggong cave in Zhangfang is the cave where the first ancestor of Zhang family once took refuge. There are also Wanfu cave and Hongyan cave. There are 13 ancient trees more than 100 years old, such as the ancient osmanthus tree of Qiu family in Zhuangban village, with a diameter at breast height of 9.1 meters and a canopy covering area of 100 square meters. There are the tombs of Chenggong, the first ancestor of Ke family, Changgong, the fourth ancestor of Xu family, Xu Daozhen, the second ancestor of Xu family, and a mummy that was born in Xinyou, Jiaqing and died in Jiayin, Xianfeng. It is well preserved.
