Luoen township is subordinate to Honghe County, Yunnan Province. The road to the county is Tanshi road. The traffic is very convenient, 72 kilometers away from the county.
It is adjacent to azahe Township in the East, Jiache Township in the south, Baohua Township in the West and Luchun County in the north. It has jurisdiction over 8 village committees and 76 villager groups. With an area of 194.76 square kilometers, altitude of 1050-2534 meters, annual average temperature of 15.1 ℃ and annual precipitation of 1539.1 mm, the township is suitable for planting rice, corn and other crops.
