Wuyun town
Wuyun Town, belonging to Jiayin County, Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province, is located 102 kilometers northwest of Jiayin county. It is adjacent to Xiangyang Township in the East, Hujia Township in the south, Changsheng Township in the west, and alhara District of Amur Prefecture, Russia, across Heilongjiang Province in the north. The total area of the jurisdiction is 328.09 square kilometers, and the total registered residence population is 8424 (2018).
Wuyun town is named after Wuyun river. Wuyun is Mongolian, which means "forest". In May of 1916, Wuyun set up the Administration Bureau and was stationed in Wenhe town. In 1984, Wuyun town was established. As of October 2019, Wuyun town has jurisdiction over one community and 12 administrative villages. The town government is located in Wuyun village.

Historical evolution
In May of 1916, Wuyun set up the Administration Bureau and was stationed in Wenhe town.
In March 1929, the county was promoted.
