Banhong township is one of the six border towns in Cangyuan Wa Autonomous County, Lincang City, Yunnan Province. It is located in the west of Cangyuan County, 50 kilometers away from Mengdong town. It is located between 98 ° 05 ′ e to 98 ° 56 ′ E and 23 ° 03 ′ n to 23 ° 19 ′ n.
