Mangnuo township is located in the South East of Shuangjiang Autonomous County, Lincang City, Yunnan Province, between 99 ° 57 ′ - 109 ° 09 ′ E and 23 ° 21 ′ - 23 ° 23 ′ n. It faces Bianjiang township of Jinggu County of Simao City across the river in the East, Dawen Township and Mengmeng township (he liupian) in the county in the West and south, and quannei township of Linxiang District in the north. The township government is 49 kilometers away from the county seat and 153 kilometers away from Lincang municipal government, with an altitude of 1852 meters. The highest altitude in the township is 2728 meters, the lowest is 670 meters, and the altitude difference is 2058 meters. The terrain is high in the northwest and low in the southeast, with continuous mountains, steep slopes, clear wet and dry seasons, and prominent three-dimensional climate. history
In March 1888 (February of the 14th year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu), the Zhilu hall at the edge of Yinan Road (later changed to Pu'er Road) was designated to be changed to Qin, and the mangnuo road was changed to Qin. In 1913 ad, the county government office was set up in mangnuo. In 1927, sipaishan, Shanggai Qinfen county and Mengmeng Tusi were merged to set up a county, with Xiaoheijiang River and Lancang River converging as the boundary, which was recognized by the provincial government. In February 1928, Shuangjiang County was set up and officially set up. The inspection period lasted for 40 years. In 1966, mangnuo district was set up. In 1969, mangnuo district was changed to Yonghong commune. In 1984, mangnuo commune was changed to mangnuo district. In early 1988, mangnuo district was changed to mangnuo township. There were 10 village offices in the township. In 1999, the village reform committee and 10 village offices were changed to 10 village committees. In mangnuo Township, some cultural relics have been found, such as stone carvings of stone incense stove in pond, stone carvings of laolinzhai in Xiaobazi and stone carvings of Huashan in Xiaobi. The whole Township covers an area of 234.6 square kilometers. Mangnuo Township mainly has a subtropical monsoon climate with distinct dry and wet seasons and remarkable three-dimensional climate. The climate between 1000 and 1700m is mild, and the altitude above 2000m is cold. The annual average temperature is 17.9 ℃, the average temperature in the hottest month (June) is 20.5 ℃, and the average temperature in the coldest month (January) is 11.4 ℃, which is greater than or equal to 10 ℃. The annual average rainfall is 1500mm, the rainy season is 1260mm and the sunshine is 2223.3 hours.
rural economy
There are 12 kinds of key industries in the township: food industry basically guarantees food, tea industry has 10727.3 mu; sugarcane industry has 5806 mu, which can be developed by 2000 mu; rape industry can be developed by 4000 mu; flue-cured tobacco has been successfully planted in 2006, the county's flue-cured tobacco production demonstration planting base has been built in Kangtai village, which can develop flue-cured tobacco by 3000 mu; lac industry has a total of 12500 mu; rubber industry has a total of 3000 mu The industry can develop 5000 mu, including 1500 mu of wasteland, 2000 mu of Baha'i, 500 mu of Fuwang and 1000 mu of Nankang, 15000 mu of papaya, 7000 mu of cassava, 36463 mu of walnut, 20000 mu in 2007 and 80000 mu in 2008, and 2500 mu of paper and bamboo, mainly to strengthen the management and protection, so as to produce economic benefits.
Characteristic industry
In addition to the traditional industries of grain, tea and animal husbandry, mangnuo Township also focuses on cultivating six special industries, namely rape, flue-cured tobacco, LAC, white papaya and pickled walnut.
Rape industry: it is mainly distributed in 8 medium and high altitude administrative villages including Xiaobazi, mangnuo, Kangtai, Bangjie, gungang, BAHA and nanjuhe. In 2007, it planted 2140 mu of rape, with a total output of 370 tons and an output value of nearly 1.26 million yuan.
Flue cured tobacco industry: the trial planting was successful in 2006, and the county's flue-cured tobacco production demonstration planting base has been built in Kangtai village. Combined with the actual situation of mangnuo Township, the natural conditions of our township are suitable for planting flue-cured tobacco. The flue-cured tobacco industry can be developed into an important pillar industry of increasing farmers' income and financial growth, and it is a short, flat and fast project to get rid of poverty and become rich. From the economic benefit of unit land area, it can not be replaced by any other industry. The township plans to develop 3000 mu of Flue-cured Tobacco during the 12th Five Year Plan period. By the end of the 11th Five Year Plan period, efforts will be made to plant flue-cured tobacco in 7317 mu of low yield farmland in the township.
Sugarcane industry: BAHA, Fuwang and Nankang, three administrative villages suitable for developing sugarcane industry in mangnuo Township, have a total area of 5806 mu of sugarcane seeds. It is estimated that the total output of sugarcane will be 23000 tons and the output value will be nearly 4.6 million yuan in 2007-08. It is estimated that the three villages will be able to develop about 20000 mu of sugarcane.
Lac industry: mangnuo township has a total rubber plantation area of 12500 mu, all of which are distributed in three administrative villages at low altitude, including Huangtian, BAHA and Nankang, including 4100 mu of newly planted rubber plantations (clover beans) and 8400 mu of old rubber plantations. In 2007, the output of rubber plantation reached 11000 kg and the output value reached 110000 yuan.
White papaya industry: mangnuo has a total area of 5690 mu, mainly distributed in 7 medium and high altitude administrative villages, namely Xiaobazi, mangnuo, Kangtai, gungang, Fuwang and Nankang. After high yield, the per mu yield can reach 1000 kg, and the output value can reach 5.69 million yuan.
Walnut industry: according to the industrial layout of the whole county, the 10 administrative villages of mangnuo township are suitable for the development of bubble walnut industry. The total planting area of bubble walnut in the township is 36463 mu, with the task of 20000 mu in 2007 and 20000 mu in 2008. By 2008, the township's walnut industry will reach 80000 mu, with a total output value of 40 million kg and an output value of nearly 400 million yuan.
Resources and environment
Nuo Township mainly belongs to subtropical monsoon climate, with distinct dry and wet seasons and distinct three-dimensional climate. Mangnuo township is rich in products, mainly including tea, chestnut, pickled walnut, pepper and other bulk agricultural products, as well as wild black fungus, mushroom, chicken brown and other edible fungi. The climate in high altitude area is warm and cool, so it is suitable to plant Pinus armandii, Cunninghamia lanceolata and other timber forests, as well as Zanthoxylum bungeanum, white papaya, white peach, apple, etc. In Xiaobazi, mangnuo, nancaohe and other high altitude areas, it is necessary to develop the pickled vegetables and ham processed by the crops such as Xietou, radish, garlic, etc. Tea and animal husbandry are the traditional pillar industries of the local economy. Animal husbandry has developed rapidly, mainly including cattle, buffalo, donkey, mule, goat, pig and chicken.
The township has a certain reserve of antimony, iron, tungsten and other mineral resources, a large number of granite for development and utilization.
There are 151085 mu of forest in the township, with a forest coverage rate of 45%. There are a large number of Pinus armandii, Pinus Cunninghamia, Pinus yunnanensis and other timber forests. Dalangba artificial Pinus armandii (Provincial Forest Park), covering an area of 105000 mu, is connected with the township area, which has a good regulating effect on the climate and ecology of the township. In addition, the area of returning farmland to forest is 7946 mu.

There are three small (I) reservoirs, Wanhe, Huanghe and dalangba, with a capacity of 9.88 million cubic meters and a total irrigation area of more than 50000 mu. There are 496 large and small water conservancy ditches, of which 20 have a flow of more than 0.1m3/s.
In the township, there are 16.5 kilometers of county and township Tanshi highway, mengmang highway (Mengmeng to mangnuo), 46 kilometers of inter County Shashi highway, mangquan highway (mangnuo to Linxiang District), 15.6 kilometers of inter country dirt road, Mangda highway (mangnuo to Dawen). The 2 × 400 kW pond power station in the township was completed and put into use in 1994. Now it is connected with Manwan Power Station for power supply. The 35 KVA pond substation built in 2000 has been put into use. In 2006, Kangtai II power station invested nearly 4 million yuan, with a total installed capacity of 1260 kW. Kangtai cascade II power station with an investment of nearly 3 million yuan and an installed capacity of 2000 kW is under construction. There are 9 natural villages and 16 villager groups in total, and the rural power grid transformation has not yet been realized.
Ten village committees in the township have realized village to village telephone communication, including 4 mobile stations: mangnuo mobile station, gungang mobile station, bingbie mobile station and Nankang mobile station, with mobile phone coverage rate of 95%. PHS has been opened in mangnuo government station, pond natural village, Kangtai natural village and huangcaolin natural village, with TV coverage rate of 100%, including cable TV coverage rate of 25%.
