Dongyangzhuang Township

It belonged to ruzuo commune in 1958, dongyangzhuang commune was established in 1961, and the township was restored in 1984. In 1996, ruzuo township was incorporated. Located in the east of the county, 20 kilometers away from the county. It covers an area of 32.5 square kilometers and has a population of 36000. It has jurisdiction over 16 village committees including dongyangzhuang, xiyangzhuang, Yangzhuang, dongchenfu, zhangyangzhuang, fengyangzhuang, tunzhuang, ruzuo, Xuzhuang, wupanzhuang, Qianzhuang, taixinzhuang, Liuzhuang, zhouying, Lizhuang and xichengfu. Agricultural production of wheat, corn, cotton.

On February 5, 2018, Handan Municipal government issued Hanzheng Zi [2018] 19 document according to the spirit of Jimin Han [2017] No. 169 document issued by the Provincial Department of civil affairs, and approved to cancel dongyangzhuang Township and establish dongyangzhuang town.
