MANGHUAI Yi Bulang township is located in the northeast of Yun County in Hengduan Mountain Area of the middle reaches of Lancang River. As of 2006, the township area of 238.7 square kilometers, 32371 mu of arable land, including 4417 mu of paddy field, 170000 mu of forest area, forest coverage rate of 41.5%. It is a typical agricultural township of ethnic mountainous area with the characteristics of Yi nationality and Bulang Nationality, with the highest altitude of 2580 meters and the lowest altitude of 795 meters, the annual average temperature of 22 ℃ and the annual precipitation of 1400 mm. Grain production is mainly grain, supplemented by wheat and beans; economic crops are mainly lac, tea, flue-cured tobacco, walnut and sugarcane.

MANGHUAI Yi Bulang Township faces Manwan and Linjie towns in Jingdong County of Pu'er City across Lancang River in the East; connects houqing Township and Yongbao town in Yun County in the South; connects Xiaojie Township and Maolan town in Yun County in the West; and borders Manwan town in the north. The township government is 48 km away from the county seat, 135 km away from Lincang City, and 568 km away from Kunming, the provincial capital (all by road). National Highway 214 nestles close to the Luozha River and passes through the township like two colored ribbons. It divides busy nostalgia into two parts. Only 12 km away from Manwan Power Station, the first megawatt power station on Lancang River, and 74 km away from Dachaoshan Power Station (by water), it is the center of Manwan and Dachaoshan Power Stations The hinterland is also the necessary place for 8 counties (districts) of Lincang City to enter and leave Kunming, and the commodity distribution center of Dali, Lincang and Pu'er. The Lancang River is more than 30 kilometers away from Huaixiang. The traffic in the township extends in all directions, crisscross with roads and waterways. Economics
In 2006, the total rural economic income of the township was 34.05 million yuan, including 12.18 million yuan of grain crops, accounting for 35.77% of the total income; 4.57 million yuan of cash crops, accounting for 13.42% of the total income; 8.22 million yuan of animal husbandry, accounting for 24.14% of the total income; and 9.08 million yuan of other income, accounting for 26.67% of the total income. The per capita net income is only 1448 yuan. In 2006, the sown area of grain crops was 54046 mu, including 33822 mu for spring crops and 20224 mu for spring crops. The multiple cropping index was 167%. The total grain output was 6.775 million kg, the per capita grain production was 371 kg, and the per capita grain ration was 321 kg.
