Old temple town
Jiumiao Town, belonging to the Mongolian Autonomous County of Fuxin City, Liaoning Province, is located in the north of the county. It is 43km away from the county seat and borders Kulun banner of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in the north. The total area is 324 square kilometers.
In the winter of 1947, the old temple area was liberated and divided into the first district of Fuxin County. In 1984, the old temple town was rebuilt. In 1992, the township was transformed into a town. In late 2018, 26770 registered residence households in old temple. As of June 2020, 14 administrative villages are under the jurisdiction of Jiumiao Town, and the people's Government of Jiumiao town is in Jiumiao village.
In 2018, there were 13 industrial enterprises in Jiumiao Town, and there were 7 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
Historical evolution

The Liuhe river originates from Dahu mountain, Kulun banner, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, passing through Jiumiao Town, with a river length of 3 km; the ahalai river originates from Jianzi mountain, Bajiazi Township, Fuxin Mongolian Autonomous County, and flows into the Liuhe river at haligatu, Jiumiao Town, with a total drainage area of 546.9 km; the tabulang river originates from naotuhu, Jiumiao Town, and flows into ahalai river at tabulang village, with a drainage area of 149.8 km Kilometers.
