Qiaotun Township

Qiao Tun Township, belonging to Shenzhou City, Hengshui City, Hebei Province, is located in southeastern Shenzhou, East Wuyi County, South and Hengshui Economic Development Zone, West and Tai Gu Zhuang Township, adjacent to north, escorting the town late, the area of 59.43 square kilometers, as of 2018, the registered residence population of 19986 people.

In 1949, it belonged to nine districts of Shenxian county. In 1953, zhaojiapu Township, Datun Township and houkangwangcheng Township were set up, belonging to five districts. In 1973, the residence of the commune was moved from qiaojiatun village to houkangwangcheng village. In 1984, it was changed to qiaojiatun township. In 1996, chenerzhuang township was incorporated into the city. As of June 2020, Qiaotun has jurisdiction over 40 administrative villages.

Historical evolution

In 1953, zhaojiapu Township, Datun Township and houkangwangcheng Township were set up, belonging to five districts.

In 1956, the district was withdrawn and three townships were merged into zhaojiapu township. Later, the township government moved from zhaojiapu to qiaojiatun village and changed to qiaojiatun township.

In 1958, it belonged to Hujiachi commune.

In 1961, qiaojiatun commune was established.

In 1973, the residence of the commune was moved from qiaojiatun village to houkangwangcheng village.

In 1984, it was changed to qiaojiatun township.

In 1996, chenerzhuang township was incorporated into the city.
