Duanwu Township

Duanwu Township, belonging to Yudu County, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the northeast of Yudu County, on the South Bank of Meijiang river, bordering kuantian in the East, Zishan in the south, Lingbei in the West and Chexi across the river in the north. As of August 28, 2007, the township has a total area of 53.9 square kilometers, with 9 administrative villages, 138 villager groups and 23102 permanent residents (2017).

Duanwu township has convenient transportation and obvious regional location. Xiancheng highway passes through the county, 33km away from the county, 11km away from national highway 323, and 12km away from huanglin station of Ganlong railway. The township is rich in land resources, low hilly land, mainly red loam soil, more than 1 meter deep, fertile soil, rich in various trace elements necessary for plant growth, no pollution sources. The development of fruit industry and animal husbandry has unique conditions. It is a suitable area for comprehensive agricultural development recognized by the Chinese Academy of Sciences. As of August 28, 2007, the cultivated land area of the township is 16150 mu, and the mountainous area is 50850 mu (including about 15000 mu of land suitable for fruit on gentle slope). The township is rich in mineral resources, rich in porcelain clay, coal, clay, limestone, manganese iron ore and other resources. The infrastructure of the whole township is perfect, the coverage rate of communication network is 100%, the cable TV network covers the whole Township, the power supply lines run through the natural villages, and the power supply is stable.

Duanwu Township vigorously develops characteristic industries such as Camellia oleifera and processing orange. As of August 28, 2007, the township has developed more than 10000 mu of Camellia oleifera, and has completed planting more than 6000 mu and planting more than 12000 mu of processing orange. The development of the industry promotes the farmers to start their own businesses, and the success of entrepreneurship drives the local migrant workers to get employment nearby. In 2007, there were more than 50 new "local boss" households in the township, more than 260 migrant workers were trained, and more than 670 migrant workers were resettled. in order to guide the surplus labor force and returning migrant workers to work and start businesses at home, Duanwu Township actively responds to the industrial development strategy, gives full play to the comparative advantages of the region in favor of the development of efficient forestry, establishes the leading industries of Camellia oleifera and navel orange, and actively guides the masses to plan from a high starting point and build a modern agricultural sightseeing demonstration park with high standards. According to the standard of "hat on the top of the mountain, skirt at the foot of the mountain, fruit planting on the hillside, breeding at the foot of the mountain, road networking, mechanized operation, labor-saving cultivation and high-efficiency demonstration", the park infrastructure is incorporated into the planning and construction of surrounding villages. As of August 28, 2007, nearly 30 kilometers of Shashi Road, the main road of the ten thousand mu Camellia oleifera base in the township, 10 kilometers of three-phase four wire circuit trunk line (1 km has been installed), more than 20 kilometers of water pipes have been installed, 2 reservoirs with a capacity of 1000 cubic meters have been built, 10 reservoirs with a capacity of more than 50 cubic meters, and more than 60 small reservoirs have been built Besides, more than 20000 plants such as Osmanthus fragrans and Myrica rubra were planted. On the basis of respecting the will of the masses, Duanwu Township transferred the intention of more than 30000 mu of mountainous area to the village committee, and adopted the mode of government establishment, capable person leading and mass participation to implement the main body of operation. Xiao Zhenyu, a migrant worker returning to his hometown, contracted more than 6000 mu of Camellia oleifera. As of August 28, 2007, the development of Camellia oleifera base alone in the township has implemented more than 53 business entities (including 2 foreign businessmen and 11 returning migrant workers). Shangtang Village

: Shangtang Village (Xinwu formation, aoziha formation...) There are 16 village groups, 2538 people, 6.7 square kilometers, 1232 mu of cultivated land, 8175 mu of mountainous area, and one small (II) type reservoir (Zhukeng reservoir). The village has many hilly land suitable for fruit production, and has developed more than 3000 mu of navel orange planting area and more than 1000 mu of Camellia oleifera.

Maple Village:

Fengshu village has 24 village groups, 3413 people, 8.9 square kilometers, and 2 small (II) reservoirs (Changtian reservoir and qiaokeng reservoir). The main agricultural products of the village are rice and fish; the village is rich in limestone resources; the Yiguo mountain area is more than 4000 mu.

Weishang Village:

Weishang village has 19 villager groups, 2478 people, 6.1 square kilometers, 1509 mu of arable land, 3870 mu of mountainous land, and 2 small (II) reservoirs (Liuxing and niuboji reservoirs). Golden House Fruit Co., Ltd. is located in the village, has planted more than 2000 acres of navel orange. The village is rich in coal resources. The village has red tourism resources. In October 1934, the first Red Army stationed in Causeway Bay.

Shengli Village:

Shengli village is the village with the largest geographical area and population. There are 28 villager groups, 3980 people, 6.9 square kilometers, 2751 mu of cultivated land, 14340 mu of mountainous land, and 1 small (1) reservoir (yapokeng reservoir). The village has obvious industrial advantages, and 3000 mu of navel orange is planted. It is the main navel orange production area in the township. The village is rich in porcelain clay, marble and other mineral resources.

Yangang Village:

Yangang village has 11 villager groups, 1646 people, 4.4 square kilometers, 979 mu of cultivated land and 4695 mu of mountainous land. The village is one of the main navel orange producing areas in the township. Gannan Fruit Industry Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang boss have successively invested in planting navel orange in the village. The planting area of navel orange in the village is more than 1000 mu.

Duanwu village is the political, economic and cultural center of Duanwu township. The village has 11 villager groups, 2182 people, 6.1 square kilometers, 1312 mu of arable land and 4065 mu of mountainous land.

Dutian village is located around duanwuwei with obvious regional location. There are 11 village groups, 2300 people, 6.1 square kilometers, 1431 mu of cultivated land, 3295 mu of mountainous land, and 1 small (II) reservoir (xin'anzi reservoir). The village is rich in manganese ore resources.

Kangliang village is located on the Bank of Meijiang river, with 8 village groups, 2082 people, 5.8 square kilometers, 906 mu of cultivated land, 555 mu of mountainous land, and 1 small (II) reservoir (Xintang reservoir).

Hanxin Village

：

Hanxin village is the north gate of Duanwu Township, close to Chexi and kuantian. Baili Meijiang river winds through, Xiancheng highway passes through it, Hanxin bridge crosses the river, Hanxin gorge has charming scenery and legendary history and culture. It is a good place to enjoy flowers in spring, summer, red leaves in autumn and fishing in winter.

The whole Township belongs to subtropical hilly humid climate, with the characteristics of suitable temperature, sufficient light, abundant rainfall and four distinct seasons. The annual average temperature is 19.7 degrees, the annual rainfall is about 160mm, and the annual average yuan frost period is 310 days. In accordance with the goal of "Prospering fruit and enriching people", the township makes full use of the advantages of natural resources to vigorously develop the navel orange industry, with a planting area of 4000 mu. Navel orange concentration areas are formed in Yangang, weishang, Shengli and Dutian villages.
