Badu town
Badu Town, subordinate to Longxian County, Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the southeast of Longxian County, connecting Dongfeng Town in the East, Xinjie town of Chencang District in the south, Tiancheng town in the West and southeast town in the north. The maximum distance between East and West is 21.41 km, and the maximum distance between North and south is 21.6 km, with a total area of 276.92 square kilometers.
As of June 2020, Badu town has five administrative villages. As of 2018, the registered residence of eight towns was 9110. In 2011, Badu town's total agricultural output value reached 79.65 million yuan, 56 Commercial outlets and a total financial revenue of 1.8 million yuan.
Historical evolution
It is named for the eight rivers of Angou River, Liugou River, Wangjiagou River, xuejiagou River, Maquan River, niugou River, Shagou River and shagouyuan river flowing eastward in the south of the street.
After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it belonged to the joint protection of Badu town in the eastern district.
In 1949, it was Badu District, with jurisdiction over five townships.
In 1957, it belonged to Niangniang Temple District.
In 1958, it was changed into the third commune of red flag, which has jurisdiction over seven production brigades.
In 1961, Badu commune was established.
In 1984, Badu township was established under the jurisdiction of 11 administrative villages.

In July 2005, Lingnan village was merged into Yangjiazhuang village, Nianpan village into Taoyuan Village, Shanghe village into rendali village, Lingnan village group 1 to 4 and guojiahe village into dangjiahe village.
By the end of 2011, Badu town had seven administrative villages, including Xipo, Yangjiazhuang, Gaolou, Taoyuan, shapengou, Dadi and dangjiahe, with 51 villager groups.

It is a deep mountain area in the South and a shallow mountain area in the north. The main mountains are niuxin mountain and qingshiya. The highest peak is niuxin mountain, located in Dadi village, with an altitude of 1714 meters; the lowest point is Xipo village, with an altitude of 1000 meters.

Badu town belongs to the Weihe River system of the Yellow River Basin. The main river is Puyu river. From Nianpan village to Xipo, it flows through Taoyuan, Gaolou, Yangjiazhuang, etc., with a flow length of 31 kilometers, a drainage area of 156.3 square kilometers and an average annual flow of 0.3 cubic meters per second.
