Kunhe Township, full name of Kunhe Daur and Manchu Township, was founded in September 1984. The total population of the township is 2647 (in 2017), and the minority population accounts for 52%. The transportation and communication of the township are relatively developed. Heijia highway runs through the township, only 5km away from the national 202 National Road. The township government is 45 kilometers away from Heihe city.
