Kahalo township is located in the south of Leibo County, Liangshan Prefecture, Sichuan Province, 60 kilometers away from the county government, across the Jinsha River and Yunnan Province. The township covers an area of 42 square kilometers and has a population of 5000.

administrative division

The township governs six village committees and 28 village groups, namely, ximaxi, Yizi, kahalo, Songlong, kaping and Jiangzi.

The township is located in Jinsha River, rich in water. The climate is mild, the land is fertile, and the natural conditions are relatively good.

Agricultural production of rice, corn, wheat. The main cash crops are navel orange, sugarcane, peanut, Zanthoxylum bungeanum and Tongmen.
