A brief introduction of Siwa nun temple in Aba Prefecture, Sichuan Province
Among the many splendid temples and pavilions on the snow covered plateau, there are few Tibetan Buddhist nuns with a large scale and far-reaching influence, such as Siwa nun temple. Jinbi's nuns and smart and magical nuns are not as conventionally established as Lama's temples. Each nun's temple has a source of magical stories and legends. Each elegant and mysterious nun is not like the Lama in the Lama's temple who was carried into the temple by his parents because of an agreed custom, but because of his understanding of nature, human society and changes in various emotional worlds, leaving the noisy world Society abandons the temptation of fame and wealth, abandons emotion and thoughts, escapes into the void, and does not support flash
It makes the world of nuns more colorful, and nuns and nuns more legendary and mysterious. The extremely rare Tibetan Buddhist nun temple has become a precious cultural relic and living fossil to study and understand the mysterious Tibetan Buddhist nun temple on the snowy plateau.
Siwa nunnery temple is located in Siman village, Siwa Township, north of ABA Jiuzhi highway in the west of ABA County on the Tibetan Plateau in Northwest Sichuan, 5 kilometers east of the county. The nun temple is built on the hillside of the mani small mountain range, close to the mountain and the water. The temple structure is small and exquisite, luxurious and elegant, shining in the blue sky and the scorching sun, reflecting the broad connotation and infinite charm of Tibetan ethnic religious culture. Walking into the temple, the small and exquisite Sutra hall, the corridor and the elegant nun's house all exude the charm of women. The Buddhist rituals of the nuns' temple and the life of the nuns are amazing. The Langlang Buddhist sutra read by the nuns is just like a euphemistic hymn.
Siwa nun temple is called "juemogongba" in Tibetan. According to historical records, the founder of the temple, pamuta luorang Qiujian living Buddha (or translated as Han TA Qiujian), was born in 1854 in Daba pamuta's home in Kasi village, longzang Township, ABA county. There were all kinds of auspicious signs when pamutaluorang was seeking to be born. When he was young, he was sent to the famous Charlie monastery by his parents who believed in Tibetan Buddhism. Because he was smart and studious, he was proficient in the classics of the five Ming Dynasties. Later, he went to Labrang temple in Gansu Province to study and devote himself to further study. He had a high attainments in Buddhism. In 1886, when the master was 32 years old, he learned from Labrang temple and returned to ABA. He built a practice cave on the mani mountain in Siwa to preach and practice. In 1894, when the Lama was 40 years old, the master expanded the practice site and recruited more than 20 nuns to teach the classic Buddhist dharma. The scale and influence of the nun Temple continued to expand, becoming a large and unique nun temple in the county and the nearby snow plateau. In 1913, pamuta luorang died at the age of 59. In July 1983, with the approval of the people's Government of the county, Siwa nun temple was opened as a place for religious activities, and gradually became an important place for religious activities and religious tourism landscape with unique cultural connotation and mysterious color.
