Shengli Township
Shengli Township, subordinate to Lishu County, Siping City, Jilin Province, is located in the northwest of Lishu County. It borders yushutai town in the East, Baishan Township and Sikeshu Township in the south, Linhai town in the West and yushutai town in the north. The area is 124.15 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, 23855 people registered residence in Shengli.
In February 1958, Shengli township was established; later, it was the residence of guanjiatun management area, belonging to yushutai commune. In 1961, Shengli commune was established. In November 1983, the commune was transformed into a township. As of June 2020, Shengli village has 12 administrative villages.
By the end of 2018, there were 4 industrial enterprises in Shengli Township and 43 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
Historical evolution
In the early Qing Dynasty, it was the banner land of mengwang. Xiaotai village is located in Liuyi District of Yushu.
In 1948, guanjiatun village was established.
In 1956, it was the residence of Xiaochengzi township.
In February 1958, Shengli township was established; later, it was the residence of guanjiatun management area, belonging to yushutai commune.
In 1961, Shengli commune was established.
In November 1983, the commune was transformed into a township.
