On December 18, 2019, the people's Government of Sichuan Province approved Aba Prefecture to adjust the administrative divisions of 10 counties (cities) including malkang city (cfzm [2019] No. 22): the administrative areas of wadi town were luodingzhai village, hejiaba village, Yujiagou village, zipingshan village and yuanwadi Township, and the people's Government of wadi town was stationed at No. 41, group 1, wadi village.

Wadi town is located in Maoxian County, Sichuan Province. In 2019, wadi township was abolished and wadi town was established. The former erbuzhai village of Qugu Township, luodingzhai village, hejiaba village, Yujiagou village and zipingshan village of Baixi Township were included in the administrative area of wadi town. The administrative region of wadi town is the former administrative region of wadi Township and erbuzhai village of Qugu township. The administrative region of wadi town is luodingzhai village, hejiaba village, Yujiagou village and zipingshan village of Baixi township. The people's Government of wadi town is located at No. 66, wadi group, wadi village.
