Wanquan Town, belonging to Wanquan District of Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is located in the east of Wanquan District, adjacent to dongyaozi town of Zhangjiakou City in the East, kongjiazhuang Town, xuanpingbao Township and anjiabao Township in the south, beixintun Township in the West and shanfangbao Township in the north. It is 12 kilometers away from the people's Government of Wanquan County, with a total area of 71.26 square kilometers.
During the period of the Republic of China, the area around Wanquan town was Wende Town, belonging to a district of Wanquan County; in March 1984, it was changed from Wanquan commune to Wanquan town. By the end of 2018, the total number of registered residence in Wanquan town was 14955. As of June 2020, Wanquan town has one community and 14 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town people's government is located in Northwest street of Wanquan city.
In 2018, there were 20 industrial enterprises in Wanquan Town, including one above scale and 29 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
During the period of the Republic of China, wendezhen was a district of Wanquan county.
In April 1953, Chengguan town was established.
In August 1958, it belonged to Chengguan commune.
In July 1961, Wanquan commune was founded.
In March 1984, Wanquan commune was changed into Wanquan town.

As of June 2020, Wanquan town has one community and 14 administrative villages: Chengguan community, dongqiaojie village, northwest Street Village, Southeast Street Village, northeast Street Village, southwest Street Village, Dongwan village, Shuiguan village, penyao village, shajiazhuang village, shangtianzhuang village, qujiazhuang village, lixingzhuang village, Wujiazhuang village and Xiwan village. The people's Government of Wanquan town is located in Northwest street.
