Dangba Township

Dangba township is under the jurisdiction of markang City, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. Dangba district was established in 1953, dangba township was established in 1956, dangba commune was changed in 1966, and dangba township was restored in 1984.

The township covers an area of 326.64 square kilometers and has a population of 2052 (2017). The area is rich in forest resources and grassland resources. The existing forest area is 8474.1 hectares, grassland area is 210000 mu, water resources and mineral resources are also very rich. There is a hydropower station and two mineral resources development enterprises. It has jurisdiction over nine village committees, namely Jianbei, gerwei, Galan, shiguoba, arob, yinlang, shijiayou, gaolangerda and dilaqiu.
