Pang Cun town, Hebei Dingzhou Town, is located in the northwest of Dingzhou, near the east wind and Qingfeng town, south of Xicheng District street, Changan road street, West brick road, North and Tangxian County Jing Wang Town, the largest distance from the jurisdiction area is 6 km, the largest distance from north and South is 10 km, the total area is 46.62 square kilometers, and at the end of 2018, the total population of Pang village registered residence is 51512.

In 1953, it belonged to Pangcun township. In 1984, it was changed into Zhidong Township and Dongnan song township. In 1994, only Dongxiang and Dongnan Songxiang merged into Pangcun town. As of June 2020, Pangcun town has 17 village committees and its people's government is located in the north of Pangcun village.

Pangcun town is located in the northwest of Dingzhou, 8.3km away from the people's Government of Dingzhou. It is adjacent to Qingfengdian town in the East, Xicheng District Street and Chang'an Road Street in the south, Zhuanlu town in the west, and Wangjing town in Tang County in the north. The maximum distance between East and West is 6km, and the maximum distance between North and south is 10km, with a total area of 46.62km2.

Pangcun town is the birthplace of Dingzhou Yangko, a national intangible cultural heritage.

Dingzhou Yangko opera, also known as Dingxian big Yangko, Dingzhou Yangko opera music for the plate cavity. In the early stage, it was all accompanied by percussion music, commonly known as "Da Luo Qiang". It was mainly popular in the central and western parts of the North China Plain and got its name because its birthplace was Dingzhou City. It is said that its source is a kind of folk tune, which has been handed down by Su Shi, a writer of Song Dynasty. In 1816, a number of Yangko plays were performed in Dingzhou. In 1952, Ding County Yangko troupe was formally established.

Dingzhou Yangko opera has its own characteristics in language, singing, mode and repertoire. The text is simple and easy to understand.
