Guifu town
Guifu Town, located in the north of Qu county, Dazhou City, Sichuan Province, is a part of the main battlefield of the Fourth Front Army of the Red Army (Yingqu campaign). The landform is mainly mountainous and river valley. There are primeval forest Longgu mountain primeval forest, National Wetland Park Berlin National Wetland Park, Centennial Temple Longhua Temple (yuhuangguan), Baiyi temple, etc. It is surrounded by Dayi Township, Anbei Township, Yongxing Town, Shuikou Town, Yanfeng Town, Laolin Town, Muya town and Mingde Township in Yingshan County of Nanchong. It is more than 30 kilometers away from Quxian County, with an administrative area of about 42 square kilometers.
On December 18, 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved Dazhou city to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns and townships in Tongchuan District and other five counties (districts) (cfzm [2019] No. 21): Guifu Township and Qianfo Township were cancelled, the administrative areas of Baishui Township and Qianfo Township were put under the jurisdiction of Guifu Town, and Guifu Town People's government was stationed at No. 38 Jianxin street.

Guifu township was established before liberation, and Huangni township was established in 1953. It was changed into commune in 1958 and township in 1984. In 1996, Guifu Township, with an area of 29 square kilometers and a population of 17000, governed 10 administrative villages and a neighborhood committee, including Batai, Siya, Longgu, Mengya, Xin'an, Jinya, Shiqiao, Dianya, wenle and Dongshan; Huangni Township, with an area of 14 square kilometers and a population of 12000, governed 7 administrative villages, including Huangni, Yuanjing, Baiyi, Xindian, Yinhe, Dongzi and Damiao. In 2004, Huangni township was abolished and merged into Guifu town.

Jia Bingzhong (academician of Qing Dynasty)
Jia Bingzhong, also known as Pingshan, is from the "study mouth" on the left side of Bolin reservoir in Guifu Town, Quxian county. He was born in 1777, the 42nd year of Qianlong's reign in the Qing Dynasty, and was a Jinshi in 1808, the 13th year of Jiaqing's reign. During his tenure in Shanxi, he advised farmers and mulberry, cultivated literary style, promoted education, built bridges and roads, loved and benefited the people, and was called "honest parents" by the common people. However, he disagreed with a senior official of the government and was slandered in everything. When Shi's mother died, she resigned angrily and returned to her hometown to teach the children in her hometown. His works include twelve volumes of Pingshan anthology, two volumes of Yinshi Yuefu, one volume of Chanju essays and two volumes of Zhiyi.
