Yuehua town

Yuehua Town, from the original Yu hometown and the original Yuehua Township, was merged into Yuhua Township in February 2004, and then renamed Yuehua Township in 2008. In March 2015, the provincial government approved the revocation of Yuehua Township and established Yuehua town. It is located at 33 Gaofeng Road, Yuehua Town Street, in the North of the county, 12 km away from Dazhu County, covering an area of 59.2 square kilometers. The township governs 12 administrative villages and 1 community.

On May 26, 2020, Yuehua town was selected into the list of strong agricultural towns in 2020.

Yuehua town is located in the north of Dazhu County, 12 kilometers away from Dazhu County, covering an area of 59.2 square kilometers, with a forest coverage rate of 15%. The town governs 12 administrative villages, 1 community, 108 villager groups, with a total population of 20863 (2017), GDP of 470.03 million yuan, per capita GDP of 15158 yuan, and per capita net income of 5732 yuan. There are 21 party branches, including 1071 party members, 55 government cadres and 7 college student village officials. Hundreds of years ago, suona was introduced into Bashu. Dazhu people made suona from local bamboo. After development, bamboo suona production technology is becoming more sophisticated. Bamboo suona consists of four parts: whistle, Tianxin, pole and horn. The whistle is made of local oat stalks in Dazhu County, the pole is made of Luohan bamboo, the specialty of Dazhu County, and the trumpet is made of local yellow bamboo strips, and then scraped with dust and painted with earth paint, which is set at the bottom of the pole for movement and loading and unloading. Wufengshan National Forest Park

Wufeng mountain, a national AAA tourist area and National Forest Park, is located in the east of Dazhu County, known as "Bamboo Park".
