Tuonan Township
Tuonan Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Mancheng District, Baoding City, Hebei Province, is located at the junction of Mancheng, Yixian and Shunping. Located in the west of Mancheng District, 15 kilometers away from the urban area, it borders Shijing Township in the East, Taiyu Township in Shunping County in the south, liujiatai Township in the west, dule Township and Guantou town in Yi County in the north. The largest distance is 8 km, the largest 9 km from north and south, and 66.67 square kilometers, and the total registered residence of Tuan Nan is 18638 at the end of 2018.
In 1996, it was built by the merging of the original Kanxia Township, beitaiyu Township and Lingxi Township, known as Tuonan township. As of June 2020, Tuonan township has jurisdiction over 17 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is stationed in Tuonan village. There are mainly Provincial National Defense Education Base Badaling Aviation Museum, Caoxian cave, Mulan cave, Baiyun Mountain and other tourist attractions.
In 2017, there were 16 enterprises in Tuonan Township, with 335 employees, including 12 industrial enterprises. In 2018, Tuonan Township had 10 industrial enterprises and 7 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
Historical evolution
During the period of the Republic of China, yuankanxia Township belonged to six districts of Yi County, while beitaiyu Township and yuanlingxi Township belonged to eight districts of Yi county.
In 1956, Yuankan Xiaxiang and Yuanling Xixiang were assigned to Mancheng County.
In 1957, the former Beitai fish Township belonged to the former Mancheng County.
In September 1958, the Lingxi people's commune was established. Kanxia Township and beitaiyu Township belong to the Lingxi people's commune.
In 1961, Kanxia people's commune, beitaiyu people's Commune and Lingxi people's commune were established.
In 1962, Kanxia people's commune, beitaiyu people's Commune and Lingxi people's commune were assigned to Yi county.
In November 1974, Kanxia people's commune, beitaiyu people's Commune and Lingxi people's commune were assigned to Mancheng County.
In 1984, it was renamed Kanxia Township, Beitai Yuxiang Township and Lingxi Township respectively.
In 1996, it was built by the merging of the original Kanxia Township, beitaiyu Township and Lingxi Township, known as Tuonan township.

Tuonan Township belongs to Jiehe river system. Jiehe enters from haoshanzhuang village, 9km from west to East, and exits from Tuonan village. Groundwater resources are abundant.

Original name
Tuonan Township got its name because the township government was stationed in Tuonan village.
cultural relics and historic sites
Caoxian cave, located 22 kilometers northwest of Mancheng District, is located on the north side of South Dazhan mountain, caojiayu village, Tuonan township. It is said that it is one of the eight immortals, where Uncle Cao became an immortal.
Caoxian cave is surrounded by mountains in the East, West and south, and faces the north. It is 350 meters long from north to south, 30 meters wide from east to west, and 8 meters high. It is a large limestone cave. Ten meters into the cave, the left side of the cave wall juxtaposed with two 2 meters high, more than 1 meter in diameter stalagmites. On the front right leaning half of the wall, a pig shaped stone stands out, known as "pig eight immortals". Not far from the "pig Fairy", there is a huge stone arch up, like a turtle carrying a "longmao stone tablet" to climb forward. In the middle of the cave lies a 5-foot-high, 5-foot-long Boulder, which looks like a long island and is commonly known as "immortal stage". There is a stone platform on the left side of Caoxian cave. On the platform, there is a big Pearl like spring water, called "xiaotianhe"; on the right side, there is a small hole, called "immortal room" and "alchemy room".
In 1991, after Caoxian cave was turned into a tourist attraction, a "dust forgetting Pavilion" was built on the right side of the cave, and a statue of Uncle Cao was set on the left side. There are eight immortals in the cave, equipped with modern electrical facilities.

Badaling Aviation Museum was founded by Han Wenbin, former director of China Aviation Museum, senior air force commander and senior engineer. In 2011, Badaling Aviation Museum was jointly named "the second batch of provincial national defense education bases" by Hebei provincial government and Hebei military region.
Mulanyu scenic spot is located in xizhaozhuang village, 25 kilometers northwest of Mancheng District, Baoding City, Hebei Province. Mulanyu cave is in the depth of mulanyu. Mulan cave is 300 meters long, with stalagmites, stalactites, stone flowers, stone pillars, stone cones, stone trees, etc. The momentum of the stone waterfall is better than that of the real waterfall. There are also paleontological fossils such as bears, deer and hounds unearthed in the cave 50000 years ago, which provide very important material for the study of local climate and geological changes.
Baiyun Mountain is located in zhiguoshi village, Mancheng district. Baiyun Mountain is also called zhiguoshi locally. Its main peak is in the north of zhiguoshi village, and zhiguoshi village is in the west of Lingxi village, Tuonan Township, Mancheng County.
