Ruokeya Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Minfeng County, Hotan Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the middle of Minfeng County, adjacent to salwuzeke Township in the East, yeyike Township in the south, Niya Township in the West and Niya Township in the north. The administrative area is 383.31 square kilometers.
By the end of 2018, the registered residence of ruke township was 7016. As of October 2019, ruokeya township has jurisdiction over 7 administrative villages.
In 2011, the total agricultural output value of ruokeya township was 5.463 million yuan, an increase of 4.3% over the previous year. The per capita net income of farmers and herdsmen was 4060.2 yuan, an increase of 185.9 yuan over the previous year.
History of construction
Before the founding of new China, it was called Heping township.
In 1950, it belonged to the second district.
In 1958, Yuejin commune was established.
In 1959, it merged with the October commune and became Niya commune.
In 1961, ruokeya commune was divided.
In 1967, it was renamed Dongfanghong commune.
In 1978, ruokya commune was restored.
In 1984, the commune was abolished and ruokeya township was set up.
