Yinping town
Yinping Town, subordinate to Liangping District of Chongqing, is located in the southwest of Liangping District, adjacent to Pingjin town and Helin town in the East, Yunlong Town in the south, Pushun town in Dianjiang County in the West and Huilong town in the north. It is 29 kilometers away from the residence of Liangping District People's government, with a total area of 54 square kilometers.
It was named Maliuchang in Jiaqing of Qing Dynasty (February 9, 1796 September 2, 1820). In September 1992, Yinping town was established by merging Yinping and Taiping townships. By the end of 2018, the population of Yin Ping town registered residence was 25252. As of June 2020, Yinping town has two communities and eight administrative villages, and the people's Government of Yinping town is located at No. 1, Youxiang street.
In 2018, Yinping town has 7 industrial enterprises and 12 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
It was named Maliuchang in Jiaqing of Qing Dynasty (February 9, 1796 - September 2, 1820).
In 1932, Liuyin township was established. In 1940, Liuyin Township and Taiping Township were merged into Yinping township. In 1941, it belonged to the third district. In 1947, it belonged to the second district.
In December 1949, it was subordinate to Pingjin district.
In March 1953, Yinping township was divided into four small townships: Yinping, Gaosheng, Taiping and Jiuling.
In December 1955, four small townships were merged into Yinping township.
In August 1958, Yinping township was changed into Yinping commune.
In January 1962, it was subordinate to Yunlong District.
In December 1962, Yinping commune was divided into Yinping commune and Taiping commune;
In September 1966, Yinping commune and Taiping commune were renamed torch commune and Chaoyang commune respectively.
In February 1985, torch commune and Chaoyang commune were restored to Yinping Township and Taiping Township.
In September 1992, Yinping Township and Taiping Township merged to form Yinping town.

By the end of 2011, Yinping town had 10 administrative villages, including Yinping, shuangzhai, xindaoqiao, Leying, Sanba, Guanghua, Qidou, Taiping, Qunle and Daping, and 82 villager groups.
As of June 2020, Yinping town has jurisdiction over two communities and eight administrative villages: Liuyin community, Taiping community, xingongqiao village, Sanba village, Qidou village, Leying village, shuangzhai village, Guanghua village, Daping village and Qunle village. The people's Government of Yinping town is stationed at No.1 Youxiang street.

The main natural disasters in Yinping town include drought and flood, wind disaster, hail and geological landslide. One of the most serious floods occurred in July 1989, covering an area of 2500 mu in Yinping, Taiping and xinqiaoqiao villages. 40 houses collapsed, resulting in a direct economic loss of 2.4 million yuan. The geological landslide occurred in May 2011, with a landslide area of 7 square meters in group 8 of Leying village.
