Caoxing Township

Caoxing township is under the jurisdiction of Dachuan District, Dazhou City, Sichuan Province. It was built in the late Jiaqing period of Qing Dynasty, belonging to Cuiping township. Caoba town was set up in 1935, Caoba township was changed in 1940, Caoba commune was changed in 1958, caoxing commune was renamed in 1981, caoxing township was set up in 1984.

Caoxing township is located in the southwest of the District, 32 kilometers away from Dazhou city. It covers an area of 24.12 square kilometers and has a population of 8602 (2017). The country highway meets the national highway 210. It has nine village committees and one neighborhood committee in Huangge, Shizhu, gaotan, Gaoxia, Sanhe, yanshanzui, Menggu, weitangpo and Huatan.

Caoxing township enterprises have coal mining, wine and other industries. Agricultural production of rice, wheat, corn, rapeseed, beans. Breeding industry to pigs, cattle, poultry, freshwater fish.
