Gu village imperial examination culture
Gu village in Pangu town is a thousand year old village. Li family in Gu village, from the ancestor of Li Tang Dynasty, began to pay attention to the education of their descendants, created Zhanyuan academy, and required young children to study in the Academy. Through the efforts of several generations, the brothers of Li Qianzhi and Li Cunzhi of the fourteenth generation set the first record. In 1081, they were elected to the same class. In the next 30 years, there were nine Jinshi in a village, and Li Dingsan's nephew was elected to the same class, which attracted the attention of song Gaozong. Between Jianyan and Shaoxing, they successively built jingxun academy and Yifang Academy in Gucun. In 1232, Li Huizhi, a Jinshi and Jixi palace official, founded Guilin Academy during the reign of Jiaxi. Since then, Wenwei academy, Shuren academy, Donghu academy, child prodigy academy, Youfei academy, Sanyi academy, Fuli academy and liuxingshu academy have been established successively in yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties. There are 12 academies in Song Dynasty. By the end of Qing Dynasty, except Zhanyuan academy, there are still 11 academies.
From 1082 to 1775, there were 68 Jinshi in Gucun in 683. If we exclude the guests, there are 59. From Li Qianzhi and Li Cunzhi to the ninth year of Xianfeng in the Qing Dynasty (1859), there were 127 Ju people, 98 of whom were Wuju, except 29 who lived in other villages. In addition, from the Yuan Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty, there were 96 Gongshi, 34 Jianpi and 67 officials. In addition to the gifts and attacks, a total of 308 people in Gucun gained fame through the imperial examination. Many people entered the official career from the imperial examination. "Gucun yangchengji" records: from the Song Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty, 287 people were appointed to official posts by the imperial court, 46 people were above five grades and 16 people were above three grades. The most famous one is Li Banghua, the censor of zuodu (zhengyipin) and Minister of the Ministry of War (congyipin) in the Chongzhen Dynasty of Ming Dynasty. His nephew Li rixuan served as Minister of the Ministry of war and Minister of the Ministry of Li in the Chongzhen Dynasty; Li Zhenyu, son of Li Yuanding, Minister of the Ministry of war in the early Qing Dynasty, was re elected Minister of Gong, Xing, Hu and Li in the Kangxi Dynasty.

Except that Yili Gangmu has been lost, the other two are included in Siku Quanshu.
In the preface to Li's documents, Hou Bin of Ming Dynasty said: "there are ten and five princes in Xiping, who are divided and analyzed in the world. The people of Jiangyou are the most prosperous, and the people of Jiangyou are the most prosperous in Ji'an."
