Trojan town

Trojan horse town is under the jurisdiction of Jiange county. Trojan horse township was established in 1951, commune was changed in 1958, township was restored in 1984, Boya township was incorporated into Jianzhen Township in 1992, and Boya township was separated out in 1995. It is located in the northeast of the county, 26 kilometers away from Pu'an, the old town of Jiange, and 59 kilometers away from Xiasi, the new town. It covers an area of 63.15 square kilometers and has a population of 7478 (2017). Provincial Highway 205 (Jiancang highway) passes through, Taibai Road: Baiya to Jiangkou. Second, strengthen publicity and create atmosphere.

In order to expand the publicity effect, create a good public opinion atmosphere for prevention and control, and enhance the consciousness of cooperation of the majority of dog farmers, the town carried out extensive publicity through radio on the one hand. On the other hand, more than 2000 copies of rabies prevention and control publicity materials and more than 20 wall slogans were compiled and printed, which achieved good results.

Third, focus on the implementation.

Since the end of July 2009, the town has concentrated time, manpower and unified action, paid close attention to the work of compulsory immunization, listing, certification and filing of rabies vaccine, and killed stray dogs, ownerless dogs and dogs not tied up as required. After nearly 10 days' work, 684 dogs from 7 villages and 1 neighborhood committee were immunized, registered and filed, accounting for 78.9% of the total number of dogs in the town, and 31 stray dogs and ownerless dogs were slaughtered. Nearly 200 dogs in the other three villages are being vaccinated and the supplementary prevention and immunization of the missing dogs are being organized. It is expected that the whole work will be completed before August 15, 2009.
