Cha Di Town, Shanghang County, Longyan City, Fujian Province, is located in the southeast of Shanghang county. The area is 79.76 square kilometers, registered residence population is 8797 (2018), 13 administrative villages (October 2019).

Chadiji town is 32 kilometers away from Shanghang County and 63 kilometers away from Longyan city. It is located at the intersection of two main traffic lines of provincial highway: the middle line (from Dachi of Longyan to Zhongdu of Shanghang) and Taibai line (from Baisha expressway exit to Taiba, Rentian and Yongding counties).

Historical evolution

As early as in the late Song Dynasty and early Yuan Dynasty, it has been in the local reproduction.

In the early Qing Dynasty, tea land was under the jurisdiction of shengyunli.

In 1916, a township was established.

In 1933, the tea border was established.

In 1936, it was Chajing Township, the second district under the jurisdiction of the county.

In 1958, the red flag people's commune tea management area committee was established.

In 1961, chadi people's commune was established.

Economics

Chadi town is a typical agricultural town in mountainous area, mainly planting rice, edible fungi, flue-cured tobacco, citrus and pig breeding. The national rice variety regional test project in southern rice region is the only national identification nursery in Shanghang County. In 1981, Chen Jinzhou began to establish the identification nursery of rice blast. In 1982, it was listed as the fixed-point test site before the promotion of new varieties in Fujian Province. In 2003, it was designated as the national rice variety regional test project in southern China by the National Agricultural Technology Extension Center.

There are traditional cultures in chadi Town, such as puppet show, drummer, Shifan music, lion dance, dragon dance, boat lantern, flower lantern, incense lantern, folk song and so on.

The only copy of "against Ben Ben ism"

In May 1930, Mao Zedong wrote "against Ben Ben ism" (formerly known as "investigation and research"), but the original manuscript, the pamphlet and the publication of this article have been lost. Lai Maoji, an underground Party member of Guanshan village in chadi Town, accidentally found the stone print "investigation work" reprinted by the CPC Minxi Special Committee on August 21, 1930 at his home. He risked his life and saved it. He donated it to the CPC Shanghang County Committee in February 1957 and then handed it over to the Longyan Prefecture Committee for preservation in the Chinese revolutionary museum.

Famous people

Qiu nengyang

Qiu nengyang was born in Zhangshu village, chadi town. In July 2005, he was awarded the rank of major general of the armed police, and was the first general in Shanghang County after the reform and opening up. In 2009, he served as political commissar of Guangxi Armed Police Corps. In 2012, retired.

Chen Jinzhou

Chen Jinzhou, a farmer technician, is the first national farmer model worker in Shanghang County. He has been engaged in agricultural technology since 1978. In April 2010, he was awarded the glorious title of "national labor model" by the State Council.

Honorary title

In 2018, chadi town was awarded the 13th municipal civilized Township by Longyan municipal Party committee and municipal government, and the township with outstanding achievements in safe construction of the city.
