Xishi town

Xishi Town, subordinate to Lincheng County, Xingtai City, Hebei Province, is located in the middle of Lincheng County, adjacent to Lincheng town in the East, Shicheng Town in the south, Haozhuang town in the West and Heicheng town in the north. It is 10km away from the people's Government of Lincheng County, with a total area of 88.67km2.

In 1953, Xishi township was set up; in 2004, Xishi township was changed into Xishi town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in West vertical town was 19733. As of June 2020, Xishi town has 25 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town people's government is located in Xishi village.

In 2018, there were 96 industrial enterprises in Xishi Town, including 2 large-scale enterprises and 67 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

In 1953, Xishi township was established.

In 1958, Xishi township was changed into Xishi commune.

In 1985, Xishi commune was changed into Xishi township.

In 1997, Kan and other townships were merged into Xishi township.

In 2004, it was changed from Xishi township to Xishi town.
