Wanzu town

Wanzu Town, belonging to Pengshui Miao and Tujia Autonomous County of Chongqing, is located in the southeast of Pengshui Miao and Tujia Autonomous County, bordering Xintian town in the East, Langxi Township and Shipan Township in the south, Hanjia street in the west, Yandong Township in the north, and 12 kilometers away from the government of Pengshui Miao and Tujia Autonomous County, with a total area of 61.99 square kilometers.

In the 21st year of the Republic of China (1932), wanzu town was divided into shangwanzu and xiawanzu townships; in August 2008, it was changed from wanzu township to wanzu town. History of construction

In the 21st year of the Republic of China (1932), it was divided into two townships: shangzu and xiawanzu. In the 29th year of the Republic of China (1940), shangzu and xiawanzu were merged into wanzu township.

In February 1951, Langxi township was set up in the west of wanzu township.

In September 1952, it was analyzed that Shipan township was set up in the south of wanzu township.

In July 1958, Shipan township was merged into wanzu Township and formed wanzu commune.

In February 1961, wanzu commune was divided into wanzu commune and Shipan commune.

In January 1984, wanzu commune was changed into wanzu township.

In August 2008, wanzu township was changed from township to town.

In 2011, wanzu town governs two communities of wanzu and Xiaohe, two administrative villages of Liaojia and Aiguo, and seven resident groups and 12 villager groups.

As of June 2020, wanzu town has jurisdiction over two communities and two administrative villages: Xiaohe community, wanzu community, Liaojia village and Aiguo village, and the town people's government is located in luotangpo.
