Tianguan Township
Tianguan Township, subordinate to Youyang Tujia and Miao Autonomous County of Chongqing, is located in the west of Youyang Tujia and Miao Autonomous County, bordering Cangling town and livable Township in the East, Dingshi town and Qingquan Township in the south, Liangyao Township in the West and Miaoxi Township in the north. It is 45 kilometers away from the residence of Youyang Tujia and Miao Autonomous County Government, with a total area of 119 square kilometers.
At the beginning of Jiaqing period in Qing Dynasty, when Youyang set up Silu Township, Tianguan township was called Xilu Erxiang; in November 1983, it was changed from Tianguan commune to Tianguan township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Tian Guan township was 12296. As of June 2020, Tianguan village has jurisdiction over six administrative villages, and the Township People's government is stationed in Tianguan village.
The main food crops in Tianguan township are rice and corn; the main animal husbandry is raising pigs, cattle and sheep. In 2018, Tianguan Township had 3 industrial enterprises and 36 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In the early Jiaqing period of Qing Dynasty, when Youyang set up the fourth road Township, Tianguan township was the second West Road township.
In 1935, Tianguan township was set up under the jurisdiction of four districts (Xiaohe).
In April 1953, Tianguan township was divided into Tianguan Township, Pingsha Township, Kangjia Township and Weishi township.
In December 1955, Tianguan Township, Pingsha Township, Kangjia Township and Weishi Township were merged into Tianguan township.
In October 1958, Tianguan township was changed into Tianguan commune.
In November 1983, Tianguan commune was changed into Tianguan township.

In January 1997, Tianguan village governed 14 administrative villages, including Tianguan, Kangjia, Dingmu, cinnabar, walnut, Fenghuang, Weishi, Xishui, Machi, Baiping, Goujia, LANGPING, xiongjia and Xiejia.
In November 2001, Xiaojie village of Zhongba Township and Jiefang village of Lingkou Township were merged into Tianguan township.
In 2004, eight groups of Xiaojie village were put under the jurisdiction of Dingshi town; after the adjustment of zoning, Tianguan township has jurisdiction over six villages.
In 2011, Tianguan village governs 6 administrative villages, including Kangjia, Tianguan, Weishi, hetaoshaping and Taibai, with 50 villager groups.
