The origin of history
Fengmu Town, with a long history and hardworking people, is famous for its filial piety. Fengmu Town, the seat of the town government, originated from the two brothers' struggle to support their mother in the early Ming Dynasty and was named "duomu city" and later renamed "Fengmu city". Since then, the local filial piety and virtuous etiquette has been widely spread, and many stories have been told. All the people in the world follow suit. After liberation, all the districts, townships and communes were named after it. In 1987, the township was still famous in the Central Plains in the name of Fengmu town. Today, there is a loyalty and filial piety Pavilion in front of the town government, and a monument of merit and virtue is built to show future generations. There are Baizhuang Yangshao cultural sites in the southwest of the town, Houduan Yangshao cultural sites in the middle, Houyu wangyangshao cultural sites in the East, Wanren nature village (divided into five administrative villages) qilicang village in the west, and Qingliang Temple ancient buildings built in Qing Dynasty are still preserved in Houduan. All these prove that there is a history of human settlement and activities from the primitive society to the Xia, Shang, Zhou, Qin and Han Dynasties. In the long history, he suffered from both war trauma and natural and man-made disasters. After liberation, the population grew rapidly and the material culture gradually flourished. In the feudal society and the war of liberation, the people relied on hard work, wisdom and hard struggle to cultivate Wang's three official Hanlin in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. In the war of liberation, more than ten revolutionary predecessors and more than thirty revolutionary martyrs were bred, such as Zhang Renfu, Chen erlie, Shao Zhouyao, Tang Decheng, he Linzhao and Bai Shuchang. He wrote a lot of moving deeds of fighting against aggression, oppression, exploitation and liberation. Although the town is located in a remote place, it has simple folk customs and is industrious and brave. "Fengmu city" was originally named Xiaoli village. It is said that in the early Song Dynasty, a family surnamed Li in Shanxi had two sons. Before the two sons grew up, their father died of illness. In order to make a living, the mother gave her eldest son to others for feeding. She took her second son, who was still in her infancy, all the way to Xiaoli village to beg for food. The mother and son depended on each other and their life gradually improved. She decided to live here for a long time.
