HEZUI Township
HEZUI Township, belonging to Shizhu Tujia Autonomous County of Chongqing, is located in the north of Shizhu Tujia Autonomous County, adjacent to Jiannan town of Lichuan City in Hubei Province in the East, Linxi town in the south, Xinxiang town of Wanzhou District in the West and zouma town of Wanzhou District in the north. It is 79km away from Shizhu Tujia Autonomous County Government, with a total area of 59.66km2.
In 1911, it belonged to linxixiatuan. In November 1983, it was changed from HEZUI commune to HEZUI township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in HEZUI township was 13152. As of June 2020, HEZUI rural area has jurisdiction over 7 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located at 17 Xinxing street, Fumin Village.
The main food crops in HEZUI township are rice, corn and potato; the main animal husbandry is raising pigs, cattle, sheep, rabbits and poultry. In 2018, there were 10 industrial enterprises in HEZUI township.
History of construction
Qing Xuantong three years (1911), is under the Linxi regiment.
The first year of the Republic of China (1912), is Linxi seven guarantees.
In March 1953, Linxi Township set up HEZUI township; in May of the same year, HEZUI Township set up Bajiao township.
In December 1956, Bajiao township was merged into HEZUI township.
In September 1958, HEZUI township was changed into HEZUI commune.
In November 1983, HEZUI commune was changed into HEZUI township.

HEZUI township is located in the southeast of Fangdou mountain. The terrain is high in the southeast and low in the northwest. It belongs to Zhongshan Mountain area. The river course in HEZUI Township belongs to the Yangtze River Basin, with a total length of 20 kilometers and a drainage area of 16 square kilometers. The main river, Longdong River, originates from Xiejiagou in zouma Town, Wanzhou District, flows through dawugou and longchongba, flows through Heitan and hezuichangkou, joins with zhongzui River, and then flows through Liangqiao to Makeng, with a length of 12.5 kilometers, a drainage area of 12.5 square kilometers, an average bed width of 10 meters, and an average annual runoff of 0.3 cubic meters The main tributaries are zhongzui River and Hulu river.
