Taipingba Township, subordinate to Fengdu County of Chongqing, is located in the south of Fengdu County, adjacent to Pengshui County in the East, Shizhu County in the southeast, Dudu Township in the south, Dudu Township in the southwest, Wuping town in the west, Dudu Township and Wuping town in the northwest, Longtan Township in the North and Wuping town in the northeast. It is 87km away from Fengdu county government, with a total area of 63.7km2.

In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), taipingba Township belonged to Chongde township; in 1998, taipingba township was established by Wuping town.
