In 1931, Zhendong Street belonged to zhenanchang township; in August 2005, Zhendong town was changed into Zhendong street. History of construction

In 1931, it belonged to zhenanchang township. In 1938, Toudaohe joint protection was established in zhenanchang township. In 1941, zhenanchang township was established as Zhendong township.

In September 1956, Shengshan and Xing'an were merged into Zhendong township.

In November 1958, Zhendong township was changed into Zhendong commune.

In November 1992, it was renamed Zhendong town.

In August 2005, Zhendong town was changed into Zhendong street.

In 1997, Zhendong street had 14 administrative villages including Mazong, Daqiu, Zhendong, Nongshi, Shaba, Fenghuang, Guoping, Jinguo, Xing'an, Longchang, Da, Huaguo, zhongdeng, Anju and a community on shuifo road.

By the end of 2011, Zhendong street had jurisdiction over two communities, namely shuifo road and Zhendong, and five administrative villages, namely, Daqiu, Fenghuang, Jinguo, Huaguo and Anju, with 19 resident groups and 32 villager groups.
