Dongmu town
Dongmu town belongs to Ziyang County, Ankang City, Shaanxi Province. Located in the northwest of Ziyang County. It is adjacent to huangu town in the East, Hongchun town in the south, BAMIAO town in Zhenba County of Hanzhong City in the West and Shangqi town in Hanyin County in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 36.1 km, and the maximum distance from north to south is 20.3 km, with a total area of 134.82 square kilometers.
As of June 2020, Dongmu town has one community and eight administrative villages. By the end of 2018, the population of Dong Mu town registered residence was 14606. In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Dongmu town reached 42.26 million yuan, the total industrial output value reached 15 million yuan, and the total social commodity sales reached 3.8 million yuan.
Historical evolution
Because of the combination of Dongming Li Township (in Dongming nunnery) and Muyang township (in Muwang Village), they each took the first word to get the name Dongmu.
The Ming Dynasty is dongmingli, Ziyang County.
The Qing Dynasty belongs to Xixiang County.
In 1943, it was called Qihuan township.
In 1960, Dongmu commune was established.
In 1984, it was transferred to Dongmu Township, Hongchun district.
At the end of December 1996, Sanguantang township was merged into Dongmu township.
In December 2010, Liaoyuan township was merged and Dongmu town was established.
