In 1707, Yipin Street belonged to the fourth grade of LIANLI; in May 2009, Yipin town was removed and Yipin street was built. At the end of 2011, Yipin street had a total population of 23416. As of June 2020, Yipin street has jurisdiction over 2 communities and 7 administrative villages, and its sub district office is located at No. 16, Yipin new street.

History of construction
In 1707, the magistrate Kong Yuzhong reorganized Ba County into 29 lanes and 12 Li, and Yipin Street belonged to the top four of LIANLI. At the end of Qing Dynasty, Yipin township was set up.
In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it belonged to the Third District Office of Jieshi, Baxian county.
At the beginning of 1949, it belonged to the Tenth District of Ba County (Baijie District).
In February 1956, Yipin township was divided into the ninth district (Tiaoshi District).
In September 1958, Yipin township was transformed into Yipin commune.
In 1982, Yipin commune was restored to Yipin township.
In March 1985, Yipin township was changed into Yipin town.
In May 2009, Yipin town was removed and Yipin street was built.
