Huayan Town
Huayan Town, subordinate to Jiulongpo District of Chongqing, is located in the west of Jiulongpo District, adjacent to Jiansheng town and Baqiao town of Dadukou District in the East, Tiaodeng town of Dadukou District in the south, Baishiyi town in the West and qinjiagang town of Shapingba District in the north. It is 15 km away from the residence of Jiulongpo District People's government, with a total area of 25.5 square kilometers.
In the Han Dynasty, the Three Kingdoms, the Jin Dynasty and the northern and Southern Dynasties, Huayan Town was subordinate to Jiangzhou County; in January 1993, it was changed from Huayan Town to Huayan Town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in Huayan Town was 53184. As of June 2020, Huayan Town has 9 communities and 5 administrative villages, and the town people's government is located at No. 258, Zhongliangshan.
In 2018, there were 143 industrial enterprises in Huayan Town, including 19 Enterprises above Designated Size and 23 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
During the Han Dynasty, the Three Kingdoms, the Jin Dynasty, and the northern and Southern Dynasties, it belonged to Jiangzhou county.
Baoding first year of the Northern Zhou Dynasty (561), under the Baxian.
In 1707, Baxian county was rebuilt into 12 Li, belonging to Zhili. In the late Qing Dynasty, Renhe township was established.
In 1940, Renhe township was changed into Renhe Town.
In October 1951, Jiansheng township was set up in Renhe Town.
In October 1952, Renhe Town was divided into the Fourth District of Chongqing, which is Yunhe, Huayan and Gongping.
In August 1956, the three townships of Yunhe, Huayan and Gongping were merged to build Renhe township.
In September 1958, Renhe, Jiansheng and Mawang townships merged to build Renhe commune.
In August 1981, Renhe commune was renamed Huayan commune.
In April 1983, Huayan commune was transformed into Huayan township.
In January 1993, it was changed from Huayan township to Huayan Town.
