Qinjiagang Street

Qinjiagang street, belonging to Shapingba District of Chongqing, is located in the southeast of Shapingba District. It is adjacent to Shapingba street, Yubei road street, tianxingqiao street and Lianfang street in the East, high tech Zone in the southeast, Xinqiao street and Huayan Town in Jiulongpo District in the south, Shandong street and Geleshan town in the west, tongjiaqiao street in the north, and Yuzhong District in the northeast, with a total area of 13.6 square kilometers.

History of construction

In 1940, it was under the jurisdiction of the 13th and 14th districts of Chongqing.

In July 1951, qinjiagang township was established.

In 1956, Shangqiao township was merged into qinjiagang township.

In 1958, qinjiagang township was changed into Hongqi commune.

In 1984, Hongqi commune was restored to qinjiagang township.

In July 1993, qinjiagang township was changed from township to town.

On February 13, 2009, qinjiagang town was changed into qinjiagang street.
