Xiwu Street

Xiwu street, Fenghua District, Zhejiang Province is located in the suburb of Ningbo City and the eastern suburb of Fenghua district. It is a typical water town in the south of the Yangtze River and an extension of Shaoxing plain. In ancient times, Xiwu used to be Yin County of Kuaiji County, and Dongjiang River connected to Mingzhou. Now, there are 800 land transportation facilities, crisscross and smooth.

Fenghua District governs streets. It is located in the east of the city. It is adjacent to Yuelin street in the west, Chunhu street in the south, Shangtian town in the southwest, Jiangkou street in the northwest, and Yinzhou District in the East and North. It covers an area of 108.39 square kilometers and has a population of 39555 (2010). It has jurisdiction over one community, one residential area and 23 administrative villages. The southeast part of the terrain is mountainous area, most of which is plain area, belonging to Ningfeng plain. Dongjiang River flows into Fenghua river. Yongtai Wenzhou Railway (with Fenghua railway station), Tongsan Expressway (with Xiwu entrance and exit), Fenghua Baidu highway and Xiyin highway pass through the area, and Dongjiang River is navigable. Named after the residence. In ancient times, Xiwu was Yin County, Kuaiji Prefecture. From 1006 A.D. to the end of Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Jinxi Township and Songlin Township respectively. From 1950 to 1957, it was Xiwu town (township), Shiqiao Township, Dongchen Township, Shangqiao Township, Miaohou Township and Kangting township. Xiwu commune in 1958. In 1961, it was divided into two communes, Xiwu and Shangqiao, with 38 production teams and 297 production teams. In 1983, it was changed into Xiwu Township and Shangqiao township. Xiwu township was established in 1984. In May 1992, Shangqiao township was merged into Xiwu town.

In 1996, it covers an area of 66 square kilometers and has a population of 32000. It has jurisdiction over Jujing, Gaofeng, Xizhong, Qingnan, sangyuan, Qianzhang, gujiafan, chenkongmu, qiaoxia, mingshanqian, yangjiaqi, zhujiatang, zhangjiang'an, tangjiata, luojiaojiang, Tingshan, Dongchen, Xie Renao, huxiaoliu, Lishi, xiawu, Wangfu, Shiqiao, yangsi'ao, Shangqiao, Quanxi, WangJiaHui, jiangjiahe and Gaoqiao Louzhang, Shangheng, Zhongheng, Xiaheng, miaohouzhou, Tongqiao, Zhaojia, shangzhainong, xiazhainong, Wuxiao village, Songyang 39 administrative villages.

In 2001, baidu township was abolished and merged into Xiwu Town, and the town government remained unchanged. It has jurisdiction over Xiwu neighborhood committee and Songyang, shangzhainong, xiazhainong, Tongqiao, Zhaojia, wuxiaocun, Shangqiao, Quanxi, gaolouzhang, Shangheng, Zhongheng, Xiaheng, jiangjiahe, WangJiaHui, miaohouzhou, yangsi'ao, Shiqiao, Wangfu, xiawu, Lishi, Qingnan, sangyuan, gujiafan, huxiaoliu, Gaofeng, Jujing, Xizhong, Dongchen, qiaoxia, chenkongmu, Qianzhang, zhujiatang, Zhangzhou Jiangan, tangjiata, Tingshan, luojiaojiang, yangjiaqi, mingshanqian, Xie Renao, shuiyandi, Banting, Li'ao, jiangjiachitou, fenshuigang, Jin'e, tax office, Yujiaba, sunhou, Baidu, Shanchang, Hanjia, Nan'ao, chaijiayan, Kongshi, buriejieqiao, jinjiayan, Xiacai, Xiaxu, ShangXu, Taiqiao, Hetou, zhongjiaao 62 administrative villages. The population is 46000, including 2200 non-agricultural population and 12000 township population.

In 2003, Xiwu town was abolished and Xiwu street was set up to manage one community and 62 administrative villages. The office is located at No. 18, Xiwu South Road (the former residence of Xiwu town government). In February 2008, Tongzhao in Kangting village of Xiwu street was put under the management of Yuelin street; after the adjustment, Xiwu street has jurisdiction over 2 residential areas and 23 administrative villages.

Street profile

"Tongsan line" expressway runs through the whole territory. Fenghua only sets up a branch in WangJiaHui, Xiwu. Fengbai highway and Xiyin highway form a main traffic network. Xiwu is only 20 kilometers away from Ningbo City, 50 kilometers away from "Oriental Rotterdam" - Ningbo Beilun port, 15 kilometers away from Ningbo Lishe International Airport. It takes less than 50 minutes to get to Xikou Town, a national tourist attraction. Xiwu has complete communication facilities, with a daily water supply capacity of 7000 tons. Two 110000 kV substations and six 35000 kV substations pass through the whole territory. Xiwu town covers an area of 111.7 square kilometers, with 52200 mu of arable land, 67000 mu of low mountains and gentle slopes, 62 administrative villages, 1 neighborhood committee and 46000 population, including 12000 Street population and 2200 non-agricultural population. Xiwu street is one of the 24 key grain producing villages and towns in Ningbo City, in which the area of multiple cropping index is 35000 mu, the area of national comprehensive agricultural development park is 1500 mu, and the area of standard farmland in Ningbo city is 2500 mu. Xiwu street is the flower (Camellia) base of Ningbo City, with a flower area of 8600 Mu and an output value of 180 million yuan. It is planned to strive to become "the hometown of Camellia in China" within three years. Among them, Jin'e village is the "flower and wood village in Zhejiang Province", mingshanqian village is the first place of Fenghua quhao clonal tea, which won the gold award of International Expo, and Zhongheng village is the technical Village of Toon in Ningbo City. The whole street has four purchase and sale associations, such as watermelon, Jiaobai, tea and flowers, which drive all villages in the town to realize agricultural efficiency and increase household income.

Fenghua has always had a good investment environment. It was rated as the second best investment environment in mainland China by Taiwan electric machinery and Electronics Association and the third best investment environment in mainland China by Hong Kong Phoenix Satellite TV.

Since its establishment on July 19, 2000 with the approval of the people's Government of Fenghua District, Xiwu outward Science and Technology Park of Fenghua district (also known as Taiwan business industrial city of Fenghua District) has become a hot spot for investment in Fenghua district. The industrial economy of Xiwu, which mainly consists of clothing, machinery and plastic weaving, has made a rapid development. The total planning area of the park is 3.5 square kilometers, of which the first development area is 1 square kilometers. The park is dominated by Taiwan businessmen, striving to form a Taiwan business intensive area in Fenghua District, "a beautiful new world for Taiwan investors", and a labor-intensive industry with textile as the main part and supporting industries of upper, middle and lower levels. The first phase of the park is planned according to the design requirements of "small planning, medium-sized supporting facilities", with medium standard construction in water, electricity, road and other supporting facilities, as well as greening and services. The park is managed by the park management committee. According to the requirements of marketization, the company implements the enterprise action to realize the mechanism and goal of self construction, self accumulation, self development and self perfection of the park. The park is the first in the province to launch a "Park in park" service center, which covers an area of 63 Mu and can accommodate 5000 people in the first phase. In order to solve the living and management problems of the managers and employees of foreign-funded enterprises, such as accommodation and entertainment, reduce the entrepreneurial cost and management pressure of foreign-funded enterprises, and effectively and reasonably use the limited land resources, the logistics management of enterprises settled in the park should be socialized.
