Dunren Street
Dunren street, belonging to Fuling District of Chongqing, is located in the core area of Fuling City, at the intersection of Yangtze River and Wujiang River. It is adjacent to Jiangdong Street along the central line of Wujiang River in the East, Lizhi street along Xinghua Road in the south, Chongyi street along Liming road in the West and Jiangbei street across the Yangtze River in the north, with a total area of 4.8 square kilometers.
In the Qin and Han Dynasties, Dunren street was located in Zhixian County of Bajun County; in 1955, Dunren town was changed into Dunren street. At the end of 2011, Dunren street had a total population of 82500. As of June 2020, Dunren street has 17 communities under its jurisdiction, and the sub district office is located at No. 10, Fujian Road, zhiganbao community.
Dunren street is the old industrial production base of Fuling, and its industries are mainly tobacco, machinery and food. In 2011, the total industrial output value of Dunren Street reached 4.72 billion yuan, and the total retail sales of social consumer goods reached 3.05 billion yuan.
History of construction
Dunren street gets its name because of the kindness and kindness of its residents, which is called "Dunren" for short.
In the Qin and Han Dynasties, the territory was the seat of Zhixian County, Bajun county.
After the Tang and Song Dynasties, it was the seat of the State Administration and the downtown commercial area of Fuzhou.
In Ming Dynasty, it belonged to guolidi.
In the Qing Dynasty, it was the first place in Changtan; in the late Qing Dynasty, it was Chengxiang District.
In 1931, it belonged to Dunren Town, Guangzhi town and Luxin Town, the first district of Fuling county. In 1940, Guangzhi town and Lvxin town were merged into Dunren town.
At the beginning of 1950, it belonged to Chengguan District of Fuling county.
In 1955, Dunren town was changed into Dunren street, belonging to Chengguan Town (district level town) of Fuling county.
In December 1983, it was directly led by Fuling City.
In November 1998, it was transferred to Fuling District of Chongqing.
