Longju town
Longju Town, subordinate to Wanzhou District of Chongqing, is located in the south of Wanzhou District. It is adjacent to Lishu Township and Henghe Township in the East, Moudao town of Lichuan City in Hubei Province in the south, Luotian town and zouma town in the west, and Changtan town in the north. It is 25 kilometers away from the government of Wanzhou District, with a total area of 247.9 square kilometers.
In the third year of Yanxi reign of Shu Han in the Three Kingdoms (240), Nanpu County Station was set up in Longju town; in January 1993, Longju District Office, Longju town and Wenming Township were merged into Longju town. History of construction
In the third year of Yanxi (240 years) of Shu Han in the Three Kingdoms, Nanpu County Station was set up.
In the second year of Kaibao in the Northern Song Dynasty (969), it was under the jurisdiction of Nanbin Weisi.
The second year of Xiangxing in the Southern Song Dynasty (1279) belongs to Longqu county.
In April 1950, the territory belonged to Longju District Office and Longju township.
In January 1993, Longju District Office, Longju town and Wenming Township merged into Longju town.
In September 2004, some villages in Ganchang Township, Tuanjie Township and Guyu Township were merged into longgou town.
