Liji town

Liji town is located in the southwest of Wanning City, Hainan Province, adjacent to Dongwo town in the East, Nanlin farm and Xinglong farm in the west, Changfeng town in the north and Nanhai in the south. The total area is 176 square kilometers, with 30210 mu of arable land, 15150 mu of paddy field, 3735 mu of dry land and 28 km of coastline. With a total population of 34043, the town has jurisdiction over 15 administrative villages, 2 town run farms, 193 natural villages, 14 complete primary schools and 2 junior middle schools. Historical evolution

The Han Dynasty belongs to Zibei County of zhuya county. The Tang Dynasty belonged to Wan'an county. Ming belongs to Wanzhou. The Republic of China belongs to Wanning county. The people's commune of Liji town was established in September 1958. The villages of Gongju Township, Shimei Township and Tianxin Township under the jurisdiction of Lingshui County were under the jurisdiction of Liji commune.
