Masi township is located in the north of Xincheng County, bordering on the new village of Datang town in the East, longsang village of Fulong Yao Township in Yizhou City in the west, Mupai village and sigeng village of Chengguan town in the south, and Yonghe village of Oudong Township in the north. The total area of the township is 234.56 square kilometers, with 30472 mu of arable land, including 5774 mu of paddy field and 24701 mu of dry land, with a forest coverage rate of 39.61%. Masi Township Committee of the Communist Party of China and Masi Township People's government are stationed in Mawu village, 24.1km away from the county seat. The countryside governs 6 villagers' committees, 96 natural villages and 134 villagers' groups in Masi, Liantuan, Longtu, Wulong, Tonggu and tangling. At the end of 2006, there were 4753 households and 19526 people in the township. History of construction
Masixiang territory, the Qing Dynasty for meritorious Delhi, is under the jurisdiction of Xincheng County. In the sixth year of Yongzheng reign, it was under the jurisdiction of the Sixth District of Yishan county during the period of the Republic of China. Before August 1952, Masi area belonged to the Fourth District of Yishan county. On September 1 of the same year, this area was part of the seventh district of Xincheng County. In August 1955, the seventh district was renamed Masi district. In February 1958, the two townships of Masi and Oudong were set up. In August of the same year, masida township was abolished and red flag people's commune was established. In January 1959, it was renamed Masi commune. At the same time, Qianjin people's commune was abolished and its land was merged into Masi commune. In August of this year, Masi commune was divided into Masi commune and Oudong commune. In 1962, the commune was abolished and Masi district was restored. In 1969, the district was withdrawn and the Masi commune was restored. On August 7, 1984, Masi commune was abolished and two townships, Masi and Oudong, were set up.
natural environment
The terrain of Masi township is high in the northwest and low in the southeast. The hilly soil is red soil, the rocky mountain area is lime soil, and the foot of the mountain and valley are alluvial soil. The soil is seriously sandy, or mud, sand and stone are mixed, and the water and fertilizer conservation is poor. Due to frequent human and animal activities, the native vegetation of limestone mountain plants in Central Guangxi is seriously damaged. Ancient fluffy, fast-growing and high-yield, is the main tree species for afforestation. located in tangling village, there are small manganese deposits and phosphorite occurrences, which occur at the top of Lower Carboniferous of tangling anticline. The manganese ore bed is formed by manganese bearing limestone, manganese limestone siliceous rock and thin layer of carbonic acid oxidation. There are two kinds of manganese cap ore beds in the mining area, with reserves of 747000 tons of D-grade manganese in the table and 166200 tons outside the table, with average grade of 24.55%. Due to years of exploitation, the reserves decrease year by year. The phosphate deposit is located in the linlongdong, luochongtun and tangling anticlines. It occurs in the lower Carboniferous, with 1-3 layers, 0.55-0.613m thick and 220-500m long, with an average grade of 18.30-24.32%.

Changliutun, a natural village under the jurisdiction of Masi village, Masi Township, is located in the southwest of the seat of Masi township government, 3km away from the township government, with convenient transportation and 3500 meters of huantun cement road.
