Wuli Town is subordinate to Lingshan County, Qinzhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It is located in the south of Lingshan County. It is adjacent to Beitong town and baishishui town of Pubei County in the East, Wenli town and bolao town in the south, Nalong town in the West and Tanwei town in the north.
Wuli Town has a total area of 179.32 square kilometers. At the end of 2012, it has jurisdiction over one community and 19 administrative villages, with a total population of 88917 (2017). From 1912 to 1926, Wuli Town belongs to wulilian. in 1927, the League training system was abolished, the county was divided into districts and townships, and Wuli township was the eighth district. In 1941, the new county system was implemented. The county was divided into four districts, and Wuli was the second district. In December 1949, Wuli township was assigned to Hepu County for management. on January 10, 1950, it returned to Lingshan County and still belonged to Lingnan special zone. In June 1951, the administrative region of the county was adjusted to be the Tenth District. In September 1957, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged, the system of big township was implemented, and Wuli township was retained. In August 1958, it was renamed Wuli people's commune. in September 1984, the people's commune was abolished, the township system was restored, and it was renamed Wuli Town.

In 1906, Wuli primary school was founded (the predecessor of Wuli Town Central Primary School). During the period of the Republic of China, most of the villages were private schools. In 1944, the private Wuli junior middle school (the predecessor of Wuli middle school) was founded. After liberation, primary schools were set up in all administrative villages. During the "Cultural Revolution", junior high schools were set up in all brigades, and senior high schools were set up in some brigades. In 1986, primary education was popularized in the town.
